My coaching background

  • I invested in a highly reputable coaching training course: the Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Coaching at the Nova School of Business and Economics (Portugal), the first stage of which was the PCEC – Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching, an internationally recognized certification from the Henley Business School (England) – one of the most advanced centres of research and academic production in Coaching.
  • My training was triple accredited by the main international organizations representing the sector (ICF, EMCC and AC). There were many hours of theory, but also a lot of practice, with supervision and mentoring (individual and group) from highly qualified and experienced professionals in Executive Coaching.
  • I am already a member of ICF Portugal and am in the process of preparing to obtain the ACC credential. I am aligned and committed to the ICF code of ethics and the premise of continuous development
  • I have recently started training in Jungian Coaching (accredited by the ICF), as I believe in the potential of symbolic language for generating insights.
  • My professional development plans include a certification in Group and Team Coaching, in order to broaden my role as a coach, drawing on my previous experience in training and facilitating workshops.

My approach

  • Each coach is unique, as what they offer is the result of integrating their life and career experience with the coaching techniques they choose and their personal style
  • I offer an eclectic approach, integrating techniques from cognitive-behavioral psychology with various other resources, as long as they make sense to the client.
  • I work in coaching sessions as a partner with clients, with the mission of helping them move forward towards their goals (but above all, on their evolutionary journey), in alignment with their identity. We work together to help them recognize and enhance their potential.

My tools

  • It’s often useful to have an assessment as a starting point. I like to use assessments that help people reflect on their own identity, while respecting their complexity and uniqueness.
  • I particularly believe in the potential of Values Assessments because the coaching process involves choices, and our values are major influencers of our decisions. These assessments provide a deep dive into the client’s identity and an understanding of how it connects with their goals.
  • I also believe in activating emotions as a way of broadening awareness and expanding points of view. To do this, I use resources such as photography and music, which help to uncover what is at the unconscious level, providing insights that would not often be generated with cognitive resources only.
  • A premise of my work is to respect my clients’ style and choices. The use of assessments or other tools will always be discussed in advance with the clients, who have the power of decision in the process.

As a coach, I can help in:

  • Your process of self-knowledge.
  • Deepening your reflections.
  • Identifying your resources and opportunities for development.
  • Discussing action plans for achieving your goals.

What to expect from me as a coach:

  • Low-profile style.
  • Punctuality and commitment.
  • Presence and full attention during sessions.
  • Active and non-judgmental listening.
  • Confidentiality and ethics.

What not to expect from me as a coach

  • Ready-made solutions – coaching is not consultancy, it’s partnership!
  • Making decisions on behalf of the client, or simply validating choices made.

Benefits of Coaching

Being more aware of who you are, your real needs and motivations, helps people evolve and pursue their happiness more assertively, aligning their choices with their true essence. In this sense, we can expect the following benefits from a coaching process:
  • Expansion of self-knowledge, through a “dive” into your identity.
  • Clarity on personal / professional goals and how they connect with your identity.
  • Identification of opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • Exploring paths to achieve your goals.
  • Choosing and defining the next steps in your journey, with awareness and motivation
It is important to understand that the client’s evolution in the coaching process is neither linear nor predictable. It varies according to the client’s willingness to go deeper, their awareness level, etc. Each journey is unique, shaped by each person’s individuality and readiness to transform.

Contracting options

What is more important to the client: predictability or flexibility?
  • If it’s predictability, I offer pre-arranged packages of sessions for clients who need to plan their sessions in advance, ensure commitment to the process and adjust their investment to a predetermined budget.
  • If it’s flexibility, I offer individual sessions, for clients who prefer not to commit to or limit themselves to a predetermined number of sessions, letting the process flow with total freedom.
Both forms of contract are possible, depending on the client’s needs, style and goals. In addition to these, I also offer pre-formatted programs to meet the general demands of certain niche markets. See below if this is the case for you! Do you need help? I’m happy to arrange a preliminary, commitment-free conversation, and help you assess which option best suits your needs.

Coaching Programs

WOMEN IN SEARCH OF NEW PATHS (Rethinking career based on values)

For many of us women born in the 20th century, our career choices were limited by a social and cultural context that led us to prioritize other roles (such as mothers). For others of us, even though we have been able to freely choose our paths, maturity has brought new needs and motivations.

I have noticed a spontaneous and growing demand from women who, like me, have decided to redirect their professional careers in search of greater alignment with their values and purpose, balance, and fulfillment.

This program was created with the aim of supporting women on this journey to rethink their careers, contributing to their self-knowledge, recognition and expansion of their potential, assessment of possibilities and action plans.

CULTIVATE THE BUSINESS DNA (based on the entrepreneurs’ values)

In my entrepreneurial and executive experience, among mistakes and successes, I have learned that an organization’s culture is one of the factors that most influence its performance – for better or for worse.

Culture develops spontaneously, as a result of patterns that are established over time, creating a collective identity.
The culture that develops randomly often ends up deviating from that represented by the values defined by the entrepreneur. On the other hand, when culture is intentionally developed, through the constant cultivation of the desired values, it can become a major competitive differentiator.

This program was created with the aim of supporting entrepreneurs in their development as leaders, with focus on the intentional development of their business culture.
